The largest cities of Adav are protected by walled defenses. These are normally curtain walls, of the type familiar from medieval fortifications. Now that magic is stronger, their defensive utility is questionable, as spells can easily open a breach in walls of this type. It is possible that the future will see a return to the massive, sloping, star-shaped fortifications common in the Second Age.
Walled Cities allow their owners to build many units. They yield 4 gold in taxes each turn.
