Profile: Perhaps better known for his novel of court life, Wind-Scattered Petals, Chun-Yi unites the warrior way with the way of the scholar -- unusual in the Empire, where the ruling class consists of scholars and rather looks down on the warriors who serve them. He is a fine swordsmen, a vicious disciplinarian (his troops are flogged for the slightest offense), and a great scholar of the history of war. His troops hate and fear him, but respect his martial skills.
